The KARS 2-Meter Net meets every Sunday night at 9:00 pm EST time on 145.470 PL 151.4 This informal net is a sort of "meeting-on-the-air" for local hams, and serves as a way to pass along information of interest to amateurs in the community.

KARS is an amateur radio club based in Bardstown, KY. The club's goals are to foster goodwill and comraderie among Hams in the county and region. The club meets 7 pm on the second Monday every month at the Nelson County Sheriff Office Training Room, 210 Nelson County Plaza, Bardstown, Kentucky 40004 . Ham Radio isn't necessarily just about electronics; it's about the art of communication! It's a hobby for both the technical and non-technical to enjoy!
